BIOGRAPHIES:

Michelle Goldyn

Mrs. Goldyn is a Coordinator for the Clark County School District in the Literacy and Language Development Department. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education and her Master's degree in Instructional Technology and Educational Policy and Leadership from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Mrs. Goldyn began her education career teaching middle school English Language Arts. She then became a peer assistance and review consulting teacher and a high school instructional strategist. During this time, her primary responsibility was to assist teachers with English language arts instruction. From there, she moved into the district's Professional Learning Education Department. She has created and presented professional development on a wide variety of topics. Currently, she assists teachers and administrators in implementing best practices and providing professional learning opportunities around districtwide curriculum resources.

Christine Mamaradlo-Rodriguez

Mrs. Mamaradlo-Rodriguez currently serves as the middle school coordinator for the Clark County School District Literacy and Language Development Department. She has been an educator for twenty years. Her educational experiences include teaching at the elementary and middle school levels. She has also served as a coordinator in the Clark County School District Assessment Department. She has earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Mass Communications from the University of California, Berkeley, a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and a Master of Education in Administrative Leadership from Sierra Nevada College.

Mrs. Mamaradlo-Rodriguez has created and presented professional development on a wide variety of topics, including literacy, dyslexia, test administration, data analysis, score calibration, and response to intervention. Currently, she supports middle school administrators and teachers with providing high-quality literacy instruction to promote growth and achievement for all students.

Nathan (Nate) Schultz

Mr. Schultz currently serves as an elementary coordinator for the Literacy and Language Development Department with the Clark County School District. Mr. Schultz earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary/Middle Education and History from Marquette University and a Master of Science degree in Educational Leadership from Cardinal Stritch University. Prior to relocating to Clark County three years ago, Mr. Schultz was an elementary teacher, instructional coordinator, and building principal in Shorewood, WI. Throughout his career, Mr. Schultz has held a passion for curriculum leadership with an equity focus. He has previously worked closely with EL Education, creating educational change through the implementation of project based learning with an emphasis on community engagement and character education.

Rachel Solem

Ms. Solem currently serves as director of the Literacy and Language Development Department in the Curriculum and Instruction Division (CID) of the Clark County School District. She formerly held roles as an elementary educator, instructional coach, assistant principal, and principal. She has earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from Iowa State University and a Master’s in Administration from Nova Southeastern University.

Ms. Solem has served as a facilitator and reviewer for Student Achievement Partners and has consulted for New Leaders in their work with the New Leaders Principal Institute. Currently, she supports administrators and teachers in providing high-quality, standards-based, and culturally-inclusive literacy and language instruction to support the academic achievement of all Clark County students.

CCSD Administrators:

Activity completion status for administrators will be confirmed with the signed Approval Form and Enterprise Learning Management System (ELMS) training record for Domain 3 accrual at the 1:1 activity time:advancement accrual rate. A NASA completion certificate is not needed/will not be accepted for this activity.

CCSD Teachers/Other Licensed Education Personnel:

Activity completion status for teachers/other licensed education personnel will be confirmed by the PGS Department with the CCSD PD in the ELMS training record at the 3:1 activity time:Contact Unit accrual rate, no action by the participating employee is needed for accrual. A NASA completion certificate is not needed/will not be accepted for this activity.

CCSD Administrators: Activity completion status for administrators will be confirmed with ELMS training record for Domain 3 accrual, a NASA completion certificate is not needed/will not be accepted for this activity.

CCSD Teachers/Other Licensed Education Personnel: Activity completion status for teachers/other licensed education personnel will be confirmed by the PGS Department with the CCSD PD in the ELMS training record, no action by the participating employee is needed for accrual. A NASA completion certificate is not needed/will not be accepted for this activity.
