Renisha has almost two decades of experience in designing educational and equity- focused initiatives for several organizations. Renisha's approach to leadership emphasizes the importance of compassion building, Social Emotional Learning (SEL), and systems thinking principles. She has delivered engaging and inspiring professional learning and workshops to various members of the non-profit, higher education and K-12 education community. Renisha is passionate about coaching and facilitating mindfulness and therapeutic sound healing experiences.

She most recently served as Director of Impact at CORE, Powered by The Rogers Foundation, and has held leadership roles at other Education organizations in the Las Vegas valley, Including Communities in Schools of Southern Nevada and Clark County Education Association. Renisha is a Social Emotional Learning Facilitator, NV Licensed School Counselor, Certified Practitioner of Sound and Vibrational Therapy, and a trained holistic empowerment coach.

Washoe County participants will be required to also register for this course in "MyPGS" in order to receive in-service credit toward salary advancement.
