Due to Washoe County School District (WCSD) salary advancement requirements, WCSD participants will be asked to submit a brief written summation of how this professional learning event will transfer learning into practice before a certificate is issued. WCSD participants: please use the link provided on the Guidance/Link sheet for each event to submit. Renisha has almost two decades of experience in designing educational and equity- focused initiatives for several organizations. Renisha's approach to leadership emphasizes the importance of compassion building, Social Emotional Learning (SEL), and systems thinking principles. She has delivered engaging and inspiring professional learning and workshops to various members of the non-profit, higher education and K-12 education community. Renisha is passionate about coaching and facilitating mindfulness and therapeutic sound healing experiences.
She most recently served as Director of Impact at CORE, Powered by The Rogers Foundation, and has held leadership roles at other Education organizations in the Las Vegas valley, Including Communities in Schools of Southern Nevada and Clark County Education Association. Renisha is a Social Emotional Learning Facilitator, NV Licensed School Counselor, Certified Practitioner of Sound and Vibrational Therapy, and a trained holistic empowerment coach.

In CCSD, administrators and professional-technical administrators may count this workshop for license renewal OR 2.5 hours toward step-advancement - not both for administrators.
Washoe County participants will be required to also register for this course in "MyPGS" in order to receive in-service credit toward salary advancement.
